A late morning visit with David Harris and Eleanor Page to ring the Gull and Tern pulli at Bedfont Lakes CP. We checked the two rafts and the Island manging to ring only eleven Black-headed Gulls and six Common Terns. Numbers are down this year due to the Island used for nesting by much reduced due to high water levels. There were a good number of unhatched Terns nests on the raft for a future visit.
The Gulls are being colour-ringed with red darvics and the combination 2A00-99 and the Common Terns with yellow darvics and the combination C.00-29.
