Broadmoor Bottom & Chobham Common - 7 July 2013

First stop off was Cesar's Camp where Silver-studded Blues had been previously been reported but a walk around the site failed to produce any or any other butterflies. Next stop was Broadmoor Bottom a BBONT reserve where Silver-studded Blues are found under the power lines, but again only a few were seen giving few photographing opportunities, so I headed to Chobham Common, where in appropriate areas they were quite common, with around 20,being seen, mainly males, but also about half a dozen females. As I was photographing them a Dartford Warbler was calling and singing from nearby heather.
