Wraysbury - 27 April 2013

A large team set out to work the site knowing that  a drenching was likely at some point and hoping that the rain would hold off until the nets were packed up. The catching went quite well - nothing exceptional but almost half of the catch comprised of Whitethroat. We caught 36 new and 29 previously ringed birds - and the rain set in just in time to ensure that we all got properly wet on the walk back to the car park.
