Khovd, Mongolia - White's Thrush 18th September 2019

Only one White's Thrush captured but what a bird! I was the fortunate person who made the discovery, although it was on the opposite side of the net and rapidly rolling along the panel. Once the bird was safe in a bag, I had plenty of time, on the walk back from J nets, to decide how to announce my capture. I decided to simply hand over the bird in the bag, and ask what I'd caught. Chris and Anton B both thought it was a dove.
