Broadwater GP - 7th September 2017

We joined MRB this morning and set seven nets on a day that was feeling distinctly autumnal. We expected quite a few tits as the flocks have tended to have a fair few over the last few visits, but we only got 4 Blue Tits and no Great Tits or Long-tailed Tits at all. We did connect with one flock, mostly Chiffchaffs, but there were also Willow Warblers, a few Blackcaps in the nets and a couple of Whitethroats, possibly forced by down by a brief shower towards the end of our session. We also caught another Kingfisher. We finished on 45 birds.
