More windy days again limited days when the net could be opened. If was, however, possible to catch a few of the Siskins that we've been hearing regularly and the use of an audio-lure to catch a Chiffchaff brought us the first summer migrant.
By the last week of the month we were starting to see brood patches on a few Blackbirds and Greenfinch, one of which had more fat than expected .
